The roof tile of the future
The tiles are made from a sophisticated spray-dried red porcelain mix: these are genuine ceramic tiles.
When a photovoltaic panel is combined with a brick tile, problems arise because the tile has greater heat induction and produces an efficiency curve in the panel, which tends to bend.
This is the reason for the use of the porcelain tile mix, since this is a colder material and much more energy-efficient.
But there are added advantages, such as the easy maintenance, since individual panels can be replaced, or the simple upgrading (for example, from an 8 Wp panel to a 12 Wp one), and as time passes and tomorrow becomes today, higher-tech panels can be fitted.
